The steps below are the ones the state lists for a suspension after a crash without insurance.

Steps listed by the Wyoming agency

  1. To prevent or end an Uninsured Accident Suspension, submit a verified SR-21 showing insurance at the time of the accident, security by certified check or certificate of deposit, a notarized release, or a notarized conditional release.
  2. If the suspension begins, have a Wyoming-authorized insurer file an SR-22 with Driver Services.
  3. Pay the $50 reinstatement fee online using oneWYO, in person at a driver exam office, or by mail to WYDOT-Driver Services, 5300 Bishop Blvd, Cheyenne, 82009-3340.
